A delivery app is three products in one, and they fail independently. Customers order through one system, restaurants and shops receive through another, and drivers are dispatched by a third. An incident that leaves the consumer app working perfectly can still mean nothing reaches the kitchen.
That structure is why an outage here is confusing to diagnose from the outside. The app opens, the menu loads, the order goes through, and then nothing happens, because the part that broke is the one the customer never sees.

Common questions about delivery apps
The consumer app and the merchant system are separate. An order can be accepted and charged while the restaurant-facing side is failing, which is why these incidents often end in cancellations rather than errors at checkout.
Usually the charge is reversed automatically when the order is cancelled, though the hold can take a few days to clear. That is between you and the vendor, and nothing on this page changes it.
