checked responded in 828msHTTP 200

Over the last 7 days, Instacart has answered our automated checks with 100.00% availability and a typical response time of ~823 ms. The most recent outage began 2026-10-29 15:22 UTC and lasted 15m (severity: degraded).

Instacart connects customers, shoppers and retailers, and an incident can hit any of the three. Orders can be accepted and charged while the shopper-facing system is failing.

Is Instacart down for everyone or just you?

Our automated checks are reaching Instacart normally right now, and it answered our last one in 828ms. That makes any trouble you are hitting more likely to be local to your connection, account or network than a full outage, which usually means you can fix it from your end.

What to do if Instacart is down for just you

  • Force-quit and reopen the app. These apps hold a long-lived session that goes stale and returns errors on every request until it is refreshed.
  • Check whether the website works when the app does not. The two use different clients against the same backend and often fail apart.
  • Turn location services off and on. A stale or refused location fix reads as no restaurants or drivers available rather than as an error.
  • Retry the payment method rather than the order. A declined card mid-checkout looks identical to the service being unavailable.
