Is Epic Games down right now?

No, it’s up.

Epic Games appears to be up and running normally.

checked responded in 63msHTTP 404

Over the last 7 days, Epic Games has answered our automated checks with 100.00% availability and a typical response time of ~42 ms. The most recent outage began 2026-10-30 22:19 UTC and lasted 4d (severity: degraded).

Epic Games runs the Epic Games Store, Fortnite, and the online services behind many third-party titles. Because so many games use Epic Online Services for login and matchmaking, an identity incident can break sign-in to unrelated games as well as Fortnite itself.

Is Epic Games down for everyone or just you?

Our automated checks are reaching Epic Games normally right now, and it answered our last one in 63ms. That makes any trouble you are hitting more likely to be local to your connection, account or network than a full outage, which usually means you can fix it from your end.

What to do if Epic Games is down for just you

  • Restart the game client and launcher completely.
  • Check your connection type — NAT and firewall settings often block game servers.
  • Verify or repair the game files through the launcher.
  • Confirm the servers for your region aren't in scheduled maintenance.
