What should I do if AdGuard VPN is down for me?

Check whether the app still works with the tool disabled. A password manager or VPN sitting in the request path fails in ways that look like the site being down. Sign out and back in. Most of these tools hold a session token that expires quietly and returns errors rather than a login prompt. Switch server or region if the tool offers one. A single overloaded endpoint is far more common than a whole service failing. Update the browser extension and the desktop app separately. They ship on different release trains and an old extension breaks against a new backend.

HTTP 200

Over the last 7 days, AdGuard VPN has answered our automated checks with 100.00% availability and a typical response time of ~596 ms. The most recent outage began 2026-10-20 20:39 UTC and lasted 25m (severity: degraded).

AdGuard VPN routes traffic through AdGuard's own server network, alongside the company's DNS and ad-blocking products. When it fails, apps either lose connectivity outright or quietly fall back to an unprotected connection.

Is AdGuard VPN down for everyone or just you?

Our automated checks are reaching AdGuard VPN normally right now, and it answered our last one in 336ms. That makes any trouble you are hitting more likely to be local to your connection, account or network than a full outage, which usually means you can fix it from your end.
